A Good Week

This was a great new week for Brandon and I!
It began with an incredible Women's Retreat that I was able to attend with about 25 other amazing women from my church. This was the first year they put something like this on. It was incredible and such a refreshing weekend in the beautiful Laguna Beach! We laughed and laughed and learned so much about Christ and the purpose of relationships and how we need to treat them. The wonderful Angela Mooney spoke. Click here to see her blog where she has posted some notes and updates from the weekend!!

Then Monday Brandon began his new job! Yes, you heard me right, NEW JOB! We are so so thankful and it came at the perfect time, of course. It, again, was a perfect reminder to us that our timing is not the right timing, it's all in Him. He is now working for 3 other guys that own a company called Triple Crown Sports. These guys, for 15 years, put on club baseball and softball tournaments in the Southern California area. This is a year round job that keeps them all very busy and Brandon can't wait to be a part of it! He had an amazing first week!

Also, I was offered the assistant swim coach position at Woodcrest High School where I currently substitute teach. I was able to accept ad am absolutely thrilled! They have a great program with so many students that are excited about swimming. I already know a good majority of them so I look forward to expanding my coaching abilities and get more involved with these students!

Brandon also began his seminary classes! He is taking Church History and Christian Theology this semester. He goes to school Monday, and Tuesday nights. So though his new awesome work schedule gives him the great 8am-4:30 hours, us picking up these extra evening responsibilities will not help in seeing one another more, because I am too still waitressing, but God has been so good in giving us these opportunities that are both great passions of ours, we are just thankful!!

Thank you for all your prayers in this job situation that Brandon has been in for a while, We are so blessed to have such amazing family and friends that are always so supportive and encouraging.
